SUMMARY:Annual Tree Giveaway
DESCRIPTION:The Jasper Park & Recreation Department\, Jasper Chamber of Commerce\, and Patoka 2000 is again sponsoring the annual tree giveaway.  This year’s event is scheduled for Wednesday\, April 22nd starting at 9 am at The Parklands\, located at 800 W 15th Street.  The event this year will be drive-thru only due to the COVID-19 outbreak.  All City of Jasper and Dubois County Health Department recommendations will be followed. \nThis year’s seedlings from the State Nursery will include the following species:  Red Bud\, Red Oak\, White Oak\, Sugar Maple\, Persimmon\, Sycamore\, Tulip Tree\, American Plum\, Pecan\, PawPaw\, and Black Cherry. \nEach person will be limited to 6 seedlings.
