SUMMARY:Meet The Candidates Forum
DESCRIPTION:Jasper Chamber/Vincennes University-Jasper/Local Media \nJasper Arts Center Auditorium – Jasper\, IN \nVoters in Dubois County will have a chance to hear the candidates running for Dubois County offices present their visions and strategies they propose to achieve that vision. \nCandidates will be interviewed at the podium and questions will be provided by local media.  This is not a debate.  Candidates who are unopposed will have an opportunity only to introduce themselves (3 minutes).  Opposed candidates will introduce themselves (2 minutes) and then have up to three minutes to answer each of three questions asked by moderator Christian Blome\, Dean of VUJ. \nThe event will be broadcast live\, Facebook Live\, recorded for later broadcast\, and also print media will be present. \nThe forum is being sponsored by the Jasper Chamber of Commerce\, Vincennes University-Jasper and local media organizations.  None of those organizations nor the venue have any political opinions. \nThe Campaign Forum will be open only to candidates.  No audience will be allowed.  All candidates will be required to wear a mask upon entry into the Jasper Arts Center and be seated according to social distancing guidelines.  Masks may be removed when at the speaker’s podium.  Campaign materials (signs\, buttons\, clothing\, etc) and active campaigning by candidates and supporters will be prohibited before\, during\, and after the event – anywhere near or on the event premises.  Public cameras and recording devices will also be prohibited during the Forum. \nCandidates who have agreed to participate are running for Circuit Court Judge\, County Council\, County Surveyor\, County Commissioner \n
