DESCRIPTION:WITZ\, WQKZ & JUAN Radio\, the Jasper Strassenfest Committee\, The Jasper Chamber of Commerce and Jasper Deutcher Verien German Club PRESENTS: \nTHE SPIRIT OF STRASSENFEST DECORATING CONTEST \nContest Rules: \n1.  Decorate your Home\, your Office\, your Business\, or even your whole Neighborhood with the official Strassenfest colors of red\, black\, and yellow.  Official Strassenfest Flags\, Banners and Buntings are available Monday through Friday during regular business hours at the Jasper Chamber of Commerce office at the corner of Sixth and Clay Streets in Jasper. \n2.  Be sure the picture of your decorations include a sign or other indicator\, such as this year’s mug or button\, of the year 2020.  (You are more than welcome to send them\, but pictures of past years will not be considered in contest judging).   \n3.  Take a picture of your family friendly decoration efforts and submit it to WITZ via email at witz@witzamfm.com\, or via Facebook message to the WITZ Facebook page.  The deadline to submit pictures is noon on July 30th.  (Which by the way\, would have been opening day of Strassenfest). \n4.  Pictures submitted will be posted to the WITZ\, WQKZ & JUAN Facebook pages as they are received.   \n5.  The top five pictures that receive the most likes and shares by noon Monday\, August 3rd will be reposted for a final round of voting. \n6.  Voting will end at 12:00 AM Wednesday\, August 5th.  The final winner will be announced Live\, On-Air on WITZ\, as well as on the WITZ & WQKZ Facebook pages and websites\, at approximately 10:05 AM on Wednesday\, August 5th.   \n7.  The winner will receive a prize package of various Strassenfest related items including an official 2020 mug and button\, Strassenfest Flags\, and a German themed umbrella plus a guest DJ appearance on the Mid-Day Cruise with Justin.
